That is the goal of all corporations. Generally consumers benefit from reduced costs as long as enough competitors exists.

Insurance is not a natural monopoly. When not enough competition exists, in the absence of a natural monopoly situation, you can bet your last dollar that government is stifling competition.

Yes, it has changed, but again... it has done so illegally and counter to the very laws and protections to which this country was founded on.

The "country" is in violation, it is unlawful, it is corrupt and it must be brought to justice.

It is time for an Article 5, time to bring this rogue country to justice.

They tried to work for the people by voting against the atrocity in the first place. It's the responsibility of the ones who shoved it down our throats to make it workable. Note, I don't think they will, as it was designed to fail and force us into single payer.

Default GOP Rejects Obama's Plea to Fix Health Care

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.

She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican.

"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be an Obama-Democrat."

"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"

"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are -- or where you are going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it's my fault ! "

They seem to be admitting they're too stupid to ''fix'' it.

I think a lot of posters in this thread need to get their news other places than Faux or the pillhead... most of the things listed are WRONG.

Which in no way disputed what I said.

As a country we are not going to turn away the sick.

As an adult: Too many things in the Obamacare are wrong. It might be better to draft a new one rather than feeding the dead horse.
Obama and the Dems voted for it and it is their failure to make it work. When you force people to pay in a system that can not even provide basic coverage, it is sad!

Typical liberal crying.

They do things and they fail, take NO RESPONSIBILITY for it, THEN they want help to fix THEIR disasters.
The disaster in US healthcare is two fold:

1. Hospitals, etc adopting "the business model" of operation about 20 years ago, massively inflating health care cost in order for corporations to profit from it.

2. Health insurers massively increasing premiums to cover the above costs while increasing their own margins.

We'll eventually go to a single payer system like the rest of the developed world has used successfully for decades. They're not that much smarter then we are. They've shown that it works. We can figure it out.

The rest of that childish rant is worth a grin.

Obama Care has created vacuum and the whole system has to have ore free market and open state lines to keep cost down. Liberals have always thought it should be free. There is nothing free in this world and Lib's better start understanding this quickly.
My insurance was better before Obama care and very affordable. Now employer's measure the cost to the number of people on full time status.
