Now, now tell the truth. Long ago Trump changed the Muslim Ban to this which is also in his Contract with the American Voter that is on his website:
"Suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people
coming into our country will be considered “extreme vetting.”
Imagine that might irritate some from the Middle East, including members of Saudi's Royal Kingdom who
own condos in Trump buildings, including Trump Tower where he lives, in NYC. Then there's the plethora of Middle Eastern business partners. Will Trump personally vouch for all of them that they have not funded terrorism?
He enters office with unprecedented conflicts of interest and the onion has yet to begun to be pealed.
Of course he is back peddling. The theatre is closed - the show is over. The script was effective...now it is down to practicality. Trump was the superior performer. The best actor.
Guess he's not against those Muslims after all. Think he'll change his mind on illegal immigration next?

The media interprets trumps words to meet their narrative, ignoring the content and intent.

Trump said the exact same thing obama did about refugees, no one enters without being thoroughly investigated. Obama lied, Trump didn't. The law requires allegience to the union for prospective citizens. No allegience no entry. yep that's an example of trump hating muslims and kicking them out.
Twist his words to your earts content, next time why not lisen to what he says and the perspective under which those words were used.
Obama got a free pass actually changing his position with no explanation. Trump has yet to take any action because he is not yet president. Any plan will undergo discussion and approval as Trump is not a king.
No way can any candidate declare a solution for a pending problem and have it not be modified.
No backpedal, because it NEVER WAS a "Muslim ban".
That's only how the media characterized it to demonize him.
Many months ago, Trump clarified his position, and it's based
on unsafe countries of origin, and other matters. In other words,
he never was going to ban all Muslims.
And that is logical.
I remember during the ebola crisis, Trump was urging Obama to temporarily ban anyone flying from West Africa until the disease was contained. Should've been common sense that Obama didn't use. We're lucky the problem didn't get more out of control than it did.
Muslims had a temporary reprieve from 12 midnight to 10 am this morning...
