I watched Manafort's attorney on the courthouse steps and thought it was odd that given that his client was charged with thirty some pages worth of "Conspiracy against the United States," and "Conspiracy to launder money," etc., what does he talk about -- that Trump was "correct" in saying there was no collusion between his campaign and the Russian government.
What the hell?
Forget Trump. He's not the guy's client.
How about saying something about how Manafort is innocent?
A fun fact. A judge waived Manafort's attorney/client privilege, so his attorney has to testify before a Grand Jury about what Manafort has told him.

the judge was persuaded that there was significant evidence Manafort and Gates had duped their lawyer into sending inaccurate letters to Justice about their lobbying efforts and about what emails might exist about the work.
