Well the leaks about the meeting between Schumer and POTUS starting to come out. The Dems were willing to give in on most areas for funding his wall and the Military and some other pet projects.
Even a 4 day CR.
POTUS then was hit with a change of mind (again) and wanted 3 weeks when there was enough time in 3 or 4 days to get it done.
Empty Barrel Kelly called Schumer saying the DACA part could not be done.
So POTUS got what he wanted a shut down. You cannot negotiate with someone who cannot keep their word.
I heard Mulvaney try and cover for POTUS. He screwed the pooch.
In response to Schumer, he went out on the podium and said that he was not in the meeting however he heard that Schumer gave in on what POTUS asked for to build the wall. 1.6 billion POTUS said oh the whole 20 billion.
POTUS moved the goal post again and got mad as heck when Schumer said what he asked for in the budget.
POTUS lied again. POTUS wants all his people to pay for a worthless wall.
