She will be voted through and that's a good thing. Charter schools will give black students more options. I can't believe the teacher's unions are so self serving, shame on them.

Except for the fact she has no actual background in education and has no idea what the position entails. That might be somewhat acceptable for something less important, such as HUD, but not for the oversight and curriculum standards of all the country's schools.

How absurd. The piddling amount of money any family would get in vouchers, would allow only the wealthy to keep their children in these schools. And the public schools would be starved far worse than they are now. This is a recipe for disaster.

My thoughts exactly. I think that DeVos will be a great education secretary. She puts students/parents (not unions) first.
