Most minorities with money and a good career are here legally so they have nothing to worry about. I don't really get what Bannon was babbling about but it's a non-issue I'm pretty sure. Most illegal immigrants are poor and from Latin America. THey are the problem.

Jesse Jackson never said that the tech industry is too Asian-only that there arent enough Blacks and Hispanics.

And Jesse Jackson is an activist with no real power to exact change.

Steve Bannon otoh has the President's ear. He basically said that Asian tech CEOs are incapable of being part of 'civic-society'

Imagine that, dynamic, brilliant, incomparably skilled over achievers who contribute to the global economy are disqualified because of their race.

Well, his own rhetoric and the frighhtening characters that are his advisors.

Since when did Trump say he was going after "immigrants"? Illegal aliens aren't plain ole immigrants as they are here illegally.

Can't speak for immigrants. But black folks had better damn sure remain vigilant. Doesn't mean they should panic or be paranoid, but when you have him nominating the likes of Jeff Sessions for AG, you already know that one department (in this case, Justice), is looking to roll the clock back to the days of COINTELPRO and they're gonna go harder on any perceived malfeasance on the part of black folks.

Other minorities can play it any way they want to. Not my concern.

How many times has the Left said something was "too white " or "not diverse enough " or a "disparate impact " .

This means that he not only takes issue with poor immigrants, but also rich immigrants-what about rich minorities as a whole?

Are we the next to be blamed for the plight of Whites in the Rust Belt?

I work in a management position in SV and this has me thinking that perhaps we should at least think about ways to keep our families safe.
As I'm sure you realize, the Bannon quote is taken out of context and exaggerated and there is no threat to you or your family. This is not Trump coming after you, but rather you flailing around for some way to attack him. Ho hum.

But remember folks, it's Republicans who are the fear mongers.

So he thinks it would be better if more Americans were running American companies in America. How is this so controversial?
