That's really sad that you think all human condition is because of choice. I hope you never have your husband leave you, get cancer or get hit by a car due to no fault of your own. My house got wiped totally by a tornado last year and I had to rebuild. Bad things happen and sometimes you become a victim. I was lucky I had money and had insurance and could be made whole again.

When you libs say half the country are fools, you must be looking in the mirror. The biggest fool lost the election.

How would I personally know if anyone else is going to ever do something in the future ?

If you didn't believe him before, why would you believe him now ?

I'm simply saying, words are cheap....let's judge Trump, or anyone else for that matter, by his actions. He cannot take any actions until he is sworn in, in about two months.

At that time, you can judge him by his actions.

Words are not cheap and they mean things. He WILL be judged by his actions in short order but in the meantime his words indicate a liar and they do have real substantive meaning. Make ridiculous promises, and then be 'convinced' out of them once you have won seems to be a winning strategy so far.

Ok...here's the deal. I'm not dumb, I get what you're saying. But hopefully you can understand where I'm coming from too.

Trump is an unconventional candidate, he'll probably be an unconventional president. He says unconventional things, he contradicts himself at times, he changes his mind from time to time. All of this we know and have seen recently.

That all being said, I'm going to look for his actions once in office to judge him. You'll go nuts trying to judge every single utterance that comes out of his mouth. He's not going to change, so perhaps our paradigm needs to. We cannot take every word he says literally, and as the end of the subject.

If I tell you I'm going to give you a million dollars in two months, and a week later I tell you I'm not going to do so, am I a liar at that point ? I'd say no, I'm not actually a liar until two months pass and I've not given you the million dollars I promised. Then, and only then, I become a liar.

I believe it's in all our cumulative best interest to at least give him a chance to prove himself.....good, or bad. Once we see how it goes, we can judge, speak, and act accordingly.

It's going to be an interesting ride for sure. It's not like things were working perfectly like a Swiss watch before, right ? There is/was a reason people voted for such an unlikely Presidential candidate as Trump. At least give him a chance. There will be lots of time for well placed and timely criticism later.

Any of Trump's buddies buying up real estate around defunct steel, textile, and coal towns awaiting the anticipated reopening and inevitable increase in land value?

You've been had.

That is quite often due to an inferiority complex.

Kinda like "if you like your health insurance, you can keep your health insurance". Remember?

The list of broken promises continues day by day.
Wait, he can make full decisions right now? When did he become president, and NOT president elect?
