Conway's public comments on this, I think, pit a lot of minds at greater ease as that snake Romney has no business anywhere near the Trump White House. Trump's credibility would go down like the Hindenburg upon a Romney appointment to ANY key position.
I'm sure that I'm not the only one still scratching his head wondering why he ever agreed to meet with him.
Romney is a lot better of choice than the two Obama chose
Romney is smarter and more diplomatic(a key trait for SoS) than Kerry or Clinton
Conway keeps criticizing Trump, maybe she should just let him make the decision. Secretary of State is probably one of the most important cabinet positions, it shouldn't be purely an award for political backers. Obama even appointed Clinton after an aggressive campaign, it wasn't nearly on a level of this one. Time to put differences aside and select who's best for the country.
She must be frustrated by Trump's dithering and tweeting.

Maybe to lead him along so he (Romney) will think he's got the gig only to have Trump pull the rug out from under him. I hope this is not the case because I'd like to see Trump show some class and maturity he has never shown before. If this whole story turns out to be Trump getting some payback then it will be proof that Trump is still the petty, vindictive, immature little jerk some of us said he was before the election. Since we're stuck with Trump for four years I'm willing to cut him some slack to see if can grow into the job of U.S. president. If he's just setting Romney up for a stab in the back then he'll deserve all the fire that's thrown at him.
selecting Romney, who is politically savvy and knows and understands diplomacy, is probably one of the best choices for SoS
The 2012 election left no doubt that Romney is anything BUT politically savvy.
He's a man who stands for nothing, has no loyalty to his party or country, and - most importantly - disdains the average working Americans at the foundation of our country's great history.
You're way, way, off the mark here. Romney doesn't even qualify for the recycle bin.

Millions of us wanted someone in the White House every bit as different as Trump is from whatever Milquetoast would have made you happy.
Yes, it's always good when your SoS has gone on record as calling his President a phony and a fraud.
It's so simple, and yet for some, so difficult.
