It was originally reported as a shooting, but now news reports are saying that it was a knife attack and that the shots were fired by police officers in order to end the attack.

Channel 10 news in Columbus 1st reported active shooter then said possibly more than one now it was a knifing of 10 people one critical assailant dead ... Thank God The Ohio State University hospital is close as is other fine hospital facilities on Rt.315 ...

Where are the liberals crying about "excessive force"? The cops should have pulled their own knives to keep it even.
Now its 9 victims and the University is now secure they also said a red SUV was involved and possibly hit one victim then rammed the building.Shots were heard so they believe the assailant had a gun also... University spokesman to speak soon...
Too bad one of the victims wasn't carrying. Possibly could have stopped this before it really even got started. As usual, when a good guy showed up with a gun, it was put to an end.
It doesn't sound like that's true. Recent news reports say a man (I've read that police scanner traffic described him as a black male with light skin and short hair) rammed a crowd with a car and then started slashing people with a knife. A report from the university said, "Victim injuries include stab wounds, injury by motor vehicle and other injuries that are being evaluated."
