It doesn't sound like that's true. Recent news reports say a man (I've read that police scanner traffic described him as a black male with light skin and short hair) rammed a crowd with a car and then started slashing people with a knife. A report from the university said, "Victim injuries include stab wounds, injury by motor vehicle and other injuries that are being evaluated."

Too bad one of the victims wasn't carrying. Possibly could have stopped this before it really even got started. As usual, when a good guy showed up with a gun, it was put to an end.
Nah, these are the same kids that protest and are told guns are bad. On the flip side your right. One person with some training could have possibly saved pain and suffering.

No shots, nobody shot, period. The hospital and their local congresswoman confirmed all injuries are related to slashing/stabbing and/or injuries from being hit by the vehicle. Reports of gunfire were likely because of law enforcement shooting the stabber.

You don't want unarmed taking on armed. That's foolhardy. But armed, sure.
Mob rules they will get a few but they have to reload or fend off many attackers at once...like I said before I wear a big metal belt buckle and a leather belt it is a great equalizer in an unfair fight.
And yes I have been in some fights knifes bricks and yes a gun stuck right in my face...pay backs where hell!

No word yet as to the ethnic group of the attacker/s. Since there was a car involved in running down students, signs are pointing at ISIS. A recent video issued by ISIS, encouraged the use of trucks and cars to carry out slaughter.
