While some things can be credited to Trump so far such as consumer confidence, there's no denying he's inheriting many upward ticks in the economy that happened on Obama's watch. So Trump can't take all that credit.
Donald Trump, the incoming president, campaigned on a litany of complaints about the economy’s performance under President Obama during the last 8 years. He repeatedly called the Obama economy “disastrous” and a “total failure.” Yet Trump now stands to inherit an economy that’s gathering steam and could make his first year or two in office a new standard for prosperity.
Trump supporters argue that recent economic news—almost all of it upbeat—is due largely to the fact that Trump won the presidential election and is now generating new hope about an economic revival. But it’s easy to break down the latest developments to determine which predate the election and which come after. The following updates were all published recently but refer to periods before the election, when most polls predicted Hillary Clinton would be the likely winner:
LOL. Liberals are already laying the ground work for "Mr. Obama laid the groundwork for a great economy. He fixed the structural problems that were so terrible. This is Mr. Obama's economy!!!!"
well, you get an A for effort.
Here is the actual facts. Mr Obama put road blocks up that have prevented the natural recovery of the economy from occurring. WHEN Mr. Trump removes those stupid road blocks (Obama executive orders and dumb and over regulations, the economy will take off. and that will be because Mr. Trump undid what Obama did.

period. Obama gets NO credit.
The economy is trying to recover in spite of Barry trying to keep it down, not because of any business wrecking regulation he signed. The economy is about to explode because of what Trump represents, not Barry's unqualified meddling.
A recession is long overdue. The seeds are planted, the fruit is ripe. It will be here before you know it. Trump will try to blame Obama. That said, presidents really don't have much influence on cyclical economic events.
Yes, the mantra being established now by the left is Obama being the greatest president ever. Everything he did for eight vastly improved the country and brought all people together.
You can't make this stuff up. Obots live in a parallel universe from reality.
LMAO, liberals are like "huh, for some reason Obama couldn't get any economic growth during his own two terms, but now that Trump was elected, he's being all generous!" LMAO THE HUMANITY!!

So that destroys the argument that Obama inherited a bad economy.
Employment did decrease to 4.9% under Obama, that's somethin'. Romney promised 6% when he ran.
I know people were disappointed with him after the first term, but overall I think he had a successful presidency and that history will remember him kindly.
