A Warren, Michigan lawyer just filed a lawsuit Monday on behalf of 23 state-approved medical-marijuana users who have been systematically harassed and ticketed by Warren police while trying to legally purchase medical marijuana.

The Detroit Free Press notes that the lawsuit, which was filed in Macomb Circuit Court by attorney Michael Greiner, states that Warren zoning officials, Police Commissioner Jere Green and Mayor Jim Fouts all worked together to shut down a medical marijuana transfer center.

Its not the cops. Its the mayor and Chief. The cops are a pawn in their political crusade. Don't blame the cops. Blame the politicians.

They are all complicit.
When a mob boss orders a street crew to go break someone's legs, does the street crew avoid responsibilty of said action by stating "they were just following orders"?

First off if its a law and they are ordered to enforce it either they do it or get fired. Are you going to pay their salaries and fund a pension while they are fired??

Obviously the mayor and the chief want this done. They order the cops. The cops do what they are told. You should work for a police department and then disobey an order. Have fun on the unemployment line.
