I think it should definitly be banned while driving. I've seen Muslim women drive around gabbing on the phone with the cell phone sticking out of their head wraps. Talk about a jihad suicide in the making.

so should ALL headcoverings be banned then? How does a scarf prevent them from driving? Should all cellphone users be banned too since thats the REAL problem here, not the headcovering shes wearing.

Head covering? No, not unless all head coverings are banned. As long as their veiw is not obstructed there is no safety reason to ban them. I woukd argue it is less distracting than some of the hairdos out there, especially what was seen in the big hair 80's.

Veil? Yes, although chances are those ladies aren't driving anyway. The difference is the veil is a safety issue because it limits their sight range.

Being on cell phones while driving? Please, yes.

Windows wide open are a big time pain when you have long hair since it flies in your face. Convertibles are even worse. This is a reason why you will see many women with their hair wrapped in a scarf while driving a convertible.

Hijab has nothing to do with the Muslim religion. it was made up after the fact by men to oppress women.

I think Yapping on the Phone while driving is a bigger concern than Muslim Hijab.

I'm sure the phone lobby has enough $$$ to convince lawmakers otherwise.

Yep. Anyone who's ever lived in an area in which winters are cold wear scarves, hoods, hats... whatever it takes to stay warm.
