Yeh, just annex the whole place, simple as that. Then Trump could build more hotels and we could all have more places for vacation. What else could we annex? Is most of Central American too hot? Might want to annex that too. How about some South American countries while we're at it? They won't mind.
This is fun!

The comments at the end of the article about the wall being good for the Mexican cartels is laughable. If their government and police weren't so corrupt the cartels would not have the power they do.

There are US Citizens that own homes, land, condos in Mexico. This would be seized(taken away from US owner with no payment and given to the Mexican government).

There are also US companies that operate non-manufacturing service sector businesses in Mexico - such as US based hotels that own and operation hotels and motels and resorts in Mexico. Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt and all the other American hotel chains have resorts in Mexico. Many of these companies are publicly traded stocks and are in people's 401Ks. If companies lose millions of dollars in assets (land, buildings, furnishings) then the stock prices would go down. This means people's 401k can be impacted.

There are US banks that have buildings in Mexico because they provide banking service to Mexico. Most US banks are publicly traded stocks.

There are US based car rental companies there with property (cars, land, buildings ) in Mexico. Car rental companies can be publicly traded stocks.

There are US based restaurants with chains in Mexico(such as McDonald's) . Their properties would be seized. MdDonald's is publicly traded. Anyone that owns that stock(either directly or via 401k or pension plan) is impacted.

Walmart and Costco have stores in Mexico. I am a Walmart stock holder. If Mexico takes Walmart property, any WMT stockholder is impacted.

Dictator Trump is going to continue to find that he is not going to get to be the Dictator that the media is trying to make him into.
The media now, gives a pass to anything he say's and does with their patronizing comment of "well, we don't know what Trump will do". Then shut up and stop giving him publicity behind the antics, and put the pressure on him to fill the role and respect the office and respect the people of this nation and get off this delusion that he is a one man crusade that is going to take over American and make it be some model of his fantasy of 1950's when he was a kid.

Nation upon Nation has something to counter his wild man talk. He will learn very quickly that the world won't roll over like the Republican system did. We already know the Republican System is FOUL. They proved that by trying to make a move against the Ethic Office. These Confederate Arse's have been trying to re-install the Confederacy for 150+ yrs, Its time American wakes up and see it for what it is. Working Poor and Poor whites if they ever awaken they will see the damage they continue to do to themselves, by being led by Republican Talking Heads on Media and In Congress. Maybe when 100-150 millon whites are devastated with no sense of hope awaken behind the shock of what they are supporting, then they will likely take up arms and take out the whole Republican Establishment. They are slow to learn, because they think they have it made because someone gives them a line of credit, but when they realize they get old and have nothing but some junk they spent their lives paying for, which is now worthless, that is likely what will awaken them.
But there is hope, that the young people of this nation, who've seen the craziness and struggled through the mess that Bush Made, of which many grew up in the middle of it, seeing their parents loose jobs, homes and everything else. And many seeing their parents loose their pensions as well as remembering the 4.xx cost of fuel. they will be shocked awake, the same as they were when they lost their job sponsored medical. Only then did they wake up and support ACA, but still they listened to Republican and the fear machine madness and did not support the elements of the program that should have been put in place.
When the Banks start back ripping them off and pushing rate inflation and every other kind of inflation, it is simple, money and the loss of money is the only thing that has ever awakened many. Those who believe in respect for humanity and equality are well awake, alert and aware. Its those who's whole life is built and measured by money are the ones whom are slow to awaken. Then when they start loosing money they go directly into panic mode.
Everyone knows some of them. Once they start to loose their money, they may kill up the whole family, go and shoot up a job, or go rogue and start shooting up the general public, their in home madness spills over into their kids and the kids go out and start shooting up people and things. We've seen it too many times.

I wish some of these people would go to the Grocery Store on the First of the Month, and watch the many elderly people, WHITE AND BLACK struggling to stretch their lowly pension or Social Security trying to figure out how to buy enough food for the month, its is truly hurtful to the heart, to see them unable to even look at certain foods, because the cost is more than they can afford. Maybe some of the people should go an look at the mothers, Yes WHITE AND BLACK working low pay jobs, trying to figure out how to make dinner for her kids. Many of these months struggling as well as many men working these back breaking jobs for less than enough to maintain peace of mind where he can hold his family together, are there, with the lonely look, unable to deal with the stress of family loss, disconnect with his kids and knowing that the can't provide for the wife and kids and often times breaking up is the only way the rest of the family can make it.
Many many many many relations ships are broken up simply because of "bad economics", when families can't make it and work their but off but can't get from under the grip of credit payments, and basic life expense cost. they become challenged within themselves, and not many relations now days can make it when both man and woman is severely economically challenged. Guaranteed many who come to this site know exactly what I'm talking about.
No, this is not only in the Cities, this is in the rural country side communities, the hills, the woods, and the run down communities and low level trailer parks, to those trapped in run down apartments.

When people awaken, and stand up and face up to want to stop banks from claiming $3-4-6 Billion of your dollars as profit every THREE MONTHS, and when people get tired of seeing Executive take home Millions upon Millions for doing basically nothing but talking, and plotting to cut and take from the workers and sell the public low quality cheap stuff with absolutely no service. Only then will this country awaken and push for REAL CHANGE.
Trump has surrounded himself with mega millionaires and Billionaires, whom are the same people, who's wealth is comprised of money that came out of the pockets of American people. Don't worship these people when they are riding and living on your money and tried to rip, strip and push off cheap stuff on you, that you have to continually repurchase, while their pockets on get fatter.
WAKE UP PEOPLE.

America never got the lust for slavery out of its system, that's why it went to China and every other place it could get slave wage labor, and not have to manage the slaves, because their government did the dirty work of letting them be used for slave wage labor. Wealthy have resented since the days of Lincoln, the fact they can't get free labor and have indentured servants for no more than it cost to house and feed a slave.

At some point people need to wake up.

Mexico is awake, they are telling us that they are not going to be looked down upon as a country nor will they allow Trump to dictate anything to them as he has been doing since the point of the vote count in this election.

Never has America seen a President Elect, talk so much and meddle in so much, and we've seen nothing but Trump build a Confederate Cabinet and push his confederate Ideals, Talking about jobs, but standing against increasing the minimum wage, that contradiction right there tells its own story. Wake up people... He can't think to Fix ACA, he wants it gone so his wealthy cronies can profit from the illness of the population. They figure if you can't work for next to nothing as a means to provide them money, then they will profit from your bad health. Either way, YOU, loose.

We have too many places in the country were people are still earning 1970's wages. and when one counts inflation, they may well be at 1960's levels. Its why so many can't keep up a home, or paint it or even keep the grass cut and their shrubbery trimmed and some communities just fall down due to inability of the people to afford basic maintenance. Once it gets to that hopeless point, people simply are forced to accept it or get sick from stressing about how they can't fix it.

Its time for the people to wake up and stop being driven by drama and ignorance and pay attention.

China lifted up more than 300-400 Million of their people, and here is America with only 300 million plus a few, and we can't keep pay our people enough to meet the standard of quality that American wants to promote in the media and around the world, when truth and fact is, we have more run down areas and people in this country, who can't even afford to do some of the things people in much poorer countries can do.

People ought to realize that when they invest in a foreign country they're assets there are no longer protected by the US laws. The foreign government can do what they want when they want.

Why put the blame on the US or Trump? They didn't force those people to invest in a third world **** hole. They did it all on their own.

Sorry that things might not go right for them but this isn't the first, nor last time, something like this has happened in foreign countrys. There is a reason investments are considerably more risky abroad then here in the states.

We would have a smaller border to protect if we just went straight down to Panama. haha. I'd love to have a pact with Canada where we can each take some of the territories too if we want.. then create a superhighway that goes from Alaska all the way down. Just some interesting scenarios I'm pondering up now. lol Canada could use the land more than we could, actually.
