A lot of people wandered around on November 9th in a daze, muttering, "You've got to be kidding me," or something quite similar.
It took a day or so for it to sink in that we were really going to have a 70 year-old con man who had run multiple businesses into the ground as our next president. To some of us, the man is a disaster waiting to happen. But who knows? We're along for the ride now.
You may want to hold off for a while on calling people idiots. The jury is still out on which group of voters were the idiots.
Just saying'.
That's about how most of us on the right felt over Hillary actually becoming a candidate. We're still in awe.
PP does much, much more than abortions. They provide family planning, cancer/std screening/treatment for gyn, and other health care services. This is a wonderful organization, which also provides termination of pregnancy in some clinics, which I support 100%.

If people don't want to have abortions, fine by me. Don't have them.
PP provides birth control services that prevent abortions. You'd think anti-abortions folks would be in favor of that, wouldn't you?
Republicans are busily trying to gut oversight on ethics (that didn't go quite as planned), repeal ACA, and pass a deficit budget that will add $10 trillion to the national debt.
Seems like Republicans have a lot on their plate. Do you all really have time to worry about a progressive fundraiser?
Not a smart move optics wise... but from what I understand there is already the house oversight committee and this was some addition that the Dems added in 2008 or 2009. Created like a dual layer. If this was gotten rid of there would still be a house oversight committee.
