CNN showed rudeness and zero respect for the President so they should not be allowed in unless they at least show respect, although they don't have to agree but RESPECT is what we would have expected towards President Obama as well.
Obama called out people in the press and news channels and CNN laughed... now they are on the receiving end so better put their big men pants on and stop whining.
The liberal MSM did their best to soften the impact of Hillary's corruption and play up all of Trump faults. They have been little more than Democratic mouthpieces for decades and have in recent weeks published damaging and unverifiable stories about Trump. I don't know it's a wise decision to keep them at bay as that will only make them even madder at Trump than they already are but, honestly, I don't blame him. The independent media was much fairer to him during the campaign so it is only right that he allow them to continue to cover the political scene under a Trump presidency. Journalistic integrity is at an all time low.
What's going to happen, is the press going to start writing hit pieces, or report fake news about Trump?
The msm discredited themselves, they are no longer legitimate, they are dying, and nothing is going to save them.
Trump has made some big promises, and the press should be an integral part of garnering public support for his administration's goals. Twitter is not an effective means of doing so. It's too disjointed and shallow a form of communication to be truly effective. He NEEDS the press, and making them into his enemy is a grave mistake. Moving them off-site makes him look like he has something to hide. His administration pokes the dragon at its own peril.
considering that the media was primarily in the pocket of hillary, and they were basically one big ad campaign for hillary, and they did their level best to smear trump at every turn, do you really blame them for kicking the media out of the white house?
While I'd be against such a move in a perfect world as I think direct access (in this case, being in the same area/building) to such high powered officials is good for democracy, given that the press corp is filled by Trump-hating, leftist "journalists" who are not interested in honestly covering the administration, I have less of an issue with this move.

The msm will never support Trump, never, no matter what he does.

The press declared open season on Trump from the day he announced his candidacy. He is not making them
"into his enemy." Given that Trump was able to win even with 99.9% of news media being clearly against him, he'd be ok even after a move like this.
Hope Trump follows through kicking out our useless 'media' (aka as the propaganda arm of the Demoncraps). We have social media and Wikileaks, that's all that's needed.
That's right. Just poke the dragon. The press with time on its hands and limited access is an invitation to trouble. I give it a year tops before all hell breaks loose if no olive branch is forthcoming.
