This new tax is for being stupid and voting for Trump. Let's see his taxes. I want the tax plan he's on. I think we should all quit paying taxes until Trump pays taxes. It's just not right. How do we know what Trump owes and to whom? I'll bet Russia is included in his debtors.

So, other than lowering corporate taxes what else should be done to incentivize corporations to bring back their manufacturing from basically slave labor countries other than attacking their profits?
Except history shows you to be wrong. As I said, tariffs do not work, they have been shown to not work throughout history and all they end up doing is adding hardship to the consumer through increased costs. This is what happens and it is the same style of governing that progressives do. It does not create incentive, it dictates and punishes as it is just another type of "regulation", the very things that impede economic growth.

As for what else should be done? Lower taxes as you stated, reduce the numerous regulations that impede competition in the market. Basically get government out of businesses way and by doing such business can flourish. Businesses move to other countries because of a need, not a desire. The US is an oppressive tax/regulatory country, more so than any other country in the world, we are one of the least free when it comes to a free economy. We practice back door socialism/communism, where it doesn't matter if the government owns production and property, they have it so heavily regulated, they might as well.

Ok, so how exactly do we get other countries to play fair with Fair Trade? How do you get China to stop playing games with their currency or slamming tariffs on our goods as they do now? How about other countries?
It's CERTAINLY not fair now.

You go ahead and stomp your feet and not pay taxes. BTW, what would you like to get on visiting days?

Do you honestly think those putting this in place from both parties are not as rich as Trump? How many Congress people on the left have unpaid taxes due?

Why are so many people on the left worried about Russia and said nothing, while President Obama was giving Russia. Uranium and land grabbing?
