Last year Michael Moore tweeted, “Flint has voted for Dems for 84 straight yrs” and wanted to know, “What did it get us?”

Reason magazine’s Robby Soave reminds us, who have "robbed city residents blind to pad the pockets of public sector unions." They’ve also been in charge as Flint has become one the country’s poorest cities (the second poorest, says the Census Bureau, for a city of its size), and a haven for criminals

Fbis newest release of americas most violent cites. the common denominator? Democratic rule for over 50 years since the civil rights movement

The most dangerous cities in America

1. St louis

St. Louis has been electing Democratic mayors since 1949.

2. Detroit

Detroit last elected a Republican mayor in 1957when it had a median income on par with Manhattan , today its coming out of bankruptcy . It is the poorest big city in the nation, with almost 40% of the population living below the poverty line.

Detroit is also a pit of political corruption. Just in recent years, one mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick, was convicted of corruption and sent to federal prison for 28 years,

Other places include Birmingham,Baltimore Oakland etc

Camden has not had a Republican mayor since 1936

Buffalo, NY hasn’t elected republican mayorsince 1954;

Cleveland, OH … since 1989;

Milwaukee, WI since 1908;

Philadelphia, PA since 1952;

Newark, NJ since 1907.

This was back in 2014 but nothing has changed much

The cities with populations over 200,000 ranked as the most dangerous are:

Detroit, MI - Mayor Mike Duggan - DEMOCRAT
Oakland, CA - Mayor Jean Quan - DEMOCRAT
Memphis, TN - Mayor A C Wharton - DEMOCRAT
St. Louis, MO - Mayor Francis G. Slay - DEMOCRAT
Cleveland, OH - Mayor Frank G. Jackson - DEMOCRAT
Baltimore, MD - Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake - DEMOCRAT
Milwaukee, WI - Mayor Tom Barrett - DEMOCRAT
Birmingham, AL - Mayor William A. Bell - DEMOCRAT
Newark, NJ - Mayor Ras Baraka - DEMOCRAT
Kansas City, MO - Mayor Sly James - Independent (but probably a DEMOCRAT)

There is a big voting population of government dependents in these cities. They like using the government as their gun to rob taxpayers.

9 out 10 of the poorest states vote Republican. Only New Mexico doesn't. Mississippi keeps voting Republican over and over again and then its citizens wonder why it's so poor. Definition of insanity.

Libs ALWAYS try to change the sibject when presented with things they do NOT want to talk about.

The SUBJECT is CITIES.

Why don't you want to talk about THEM.

If you want to talk about states OPEN YOUR OWN THREAD.

You do realize that state can't really control the cities right? Most cities are firmly in the hands of the liberals.

Actually the Delta, the poorest section of Mississippi, is one of the most staunchly Democrat areas in the nation.

the $$ flows form the top when it comes to poverty. etc. most of crime is due to poverty and lack of education and opportunity-- yet cities can only run themselves to a point- a city school is mandated by fed -county -bla bla its all intertwined. In FL tricky Ricky goes to get jobs as in Amazon- it opens in Riverview, FL-- should had gone to Jacksonville. Who decided that? the city?

There is really no argument. Most of these cities are also broke.

Dems will just try to justify by deflecting to another argument. Red States like TX that have depressed cities are mostly minority or a huge population of Illegals from our South.

That is a pointless metric if you dont actually look at the voter in these states that are democratic voting and their income, not to mention cost of living adjusted for income. I guarantee you that the majority of the poorest cities in most of those states are democratic voters and run by democrats.

Not to mention many of the states with highest income also have many of the most violent cities like New jersey.

Can you name one of the poorest and most violent large cities in the country that isnt run by a Democratic mayor and city council?

St. Louis MO DEMOCRAT since 1949.

Detroit MI DEMOCRAT since 1957

Newark, NJ DEMOCRAT since 1907

.Oakland, California, DEMOCRAT since 1977.

Camden NJ DEMOCRAT since 1936

Baltimore, DEMOCRAT since 1967

Buffalo, NY DEMOCRAT since 1954

Cleveland, OH DEMOCRAT since 1989;

Milwaukee, WI DEMOCRAT since 1908;

Philadelphia, PA since 1952

Flint MI DEMOCRAT

This was back in 2014 but nothing has changed much mayoral wise and most are almost one party rule
