There are many former Presidents who didn't go to Ivy League colleges. There are many, some of whom rank among the best, who never went to college at all.

It's funny because, white nationalist and white supremacist do not like Jews at all, but voted for Trump while ignoring Jewish ties and roots. Therefore the race wars in America is over.
Nice! Our first Jewish'ish president! That's pretty cool.

Maybe the OP should start watching Comedy Central so he can be less completely wrong.

I'm actually curious where the OP came up with this bit of nonsense. Was it an original thought? Or was it from some right wing fake news site or email that got forwarded or Facebook post by some right wing moron?

I've got to give you credit though for your shameless attempt to spin a right winger falling for hilariously wrong propaganda into an attack on people who are actually informed. Not a very good attempt, mind you, but it did take some sort of something to actually type that garbage out and click the post button.

Maybe they thought the University of Pennsylvania wasn't in the Ivy League?

I'm a native Pennsylvanian but have come across a bunch of people on travels throughout the US that somehow confuse the University of Pennsylvania with the Pennsylvania State University.

Anyone else hear the Op's credibility dropping like an Anvil on Wile E. Coyote or is it just me.

The OPs tag line says it all . Probably heard it there, so it's true regardless of any facts others present .

Reagan went to a little place called Eureka , or something similar . Not an Ivy League school .

Let's suppose that's true. That only explains the Trump-specific part of that giant pile of wrong.

It's not like we have to go far back to find a president who didn't graduate from an Ivy League.

The left should be singing his praises but instead they are not.
Please tell me someone told the OP that Penn is an Ivy League school before page 5 ???????????????????????

I guess that poster in the Parenting thread was right after all.

Teaching kids which colleges are Ivy league should be mandatory

(This thread is really intended for those on the west coast. It's probably old knowledge for most of you on the east coast.)

I think it should be mandatory to teach students which colleges are in the Ivy league. This is often confused.

For example, UC-Berkeley is not Ivy league. It's a state college in California. Nor is Caltech or MIT.

There are only 8 Ivy league colleges:
Brown University
Columbia University
Cornell University
Dartmouth College
Harvard University
Princeton University
University of Pennsylvania
Yale University

If the college you're talking about is not on the list above, it's not Ivy league.

My apologies, twoincomes- I guess some people really do need to learn this,
