Hopefully. Subsidies cost tax-payers about $25 Billion annually. Not only can the subsidies be eliminated, but also the USDA needs to be down-sized, have its mission changed to agricultural data collection and statistical analysis and subordinated to the Department of the Interior as an undersecretary position.

Farm subsidies have nothing to do with your ability to eat.

If I would be Trump, I'd push to end SNAP no later than September 30, 2017 and tell the States to come up with their own Food Stamp programs.
