Why do so many people want to support con men and put down small businessmen and women? I will never understand it.

I think maybe they are thinking they can be like them?

The say that "like seeks like" and the only explanation I can come up with is that there are some oddballs that have found a kindred spirit in Trump.

You made this sound like a good news.

Have you thought about the hotel staff would be out of jobs if this is true?

Everyday won't be sunny, that's a given. Every president will have his tough days and bad days. That is a tough job and you have to know tough times and bad news lie ahead, things that are not even on anybody's radar at the moment. Not wishing that on anybody, but I can't perceive there will be good news all the time.

I just look up their availability, and the only time it is fully booked is June 7 and 8, when there is some sort of Tech conference in DC, and August 1.

Actually, no, the president, and vice president cannot have a conflict of interest, just because you say they can. Legal experts have already made this clear, the president cannot have a conflict of interest.

Payment for service is not a gift, so the emoluments clause does not apply.
