We are a melting pot, NOT multi cultural. Its not just party themses or costumes or mascots, or movies or music. Its everything we contact on a daily basis.
No. I have always seen those things as tributes to/celebrations of other cultures. Not about to change that now.
If SJWs are saying that sort of thing is wrong, they are the ridiculous ones but then I guess their idea of fun is 'mocking' others and burning them in effigy, not celebrating them.
I dont think it should be an issue with anyone. Why would it offend me if you recognize & celebrate my Indian roots? I love the indian characters on tv shows & movies.

Sounds like a dumb theme for a party, one surely meant to provoke. Otherwise, I don't think it's inherently racist. I guess it would be like a toga party is to Roman culture.
