The Democrat Party is losing and losing big. The Democrat Party has not had this few seats in Washington since the 1920s.

The Democrat Party has lost over 1,200 seats — federal, state, and local level — since the midterm the elections of 2010. There are only five states where the Democrats have the governorship and the control of the state legislature. That is it. Only 5 out of 50!!!
Actually, it’s only four, because in one of the states there’s a tie, and they have the tiebreaker. So in real numbers it’s only four.

In 2018, they have 10 senators up for reelection in states that Trump won, in most part, by double digits. Trump has not been stopped from doing anything he’s intended to do.

But the picture being created for you multiple times a day in the media is that Trump’s victory is an aberration, a mistake, maybe a fraud, maybe a crime. It’s obscene because it doesn’t represent the majority of thinking in the country.

It in fact does. The Democrats lost the election. They are losing seats left and right. Only 25% of the people in this country openly identify as liberal; 37% openly identify as conservative.
The big the factor here, as it always is, is the media. The media knows that it is helping to spread lies..

The media is trying to dispirit Trump supporters. ... It’s designed to depress you. It’s designed to make you think you’re never gonna really succeed at this. It’s designed to make you think that they’re gonna be able to get rid of Trump next week, next month. It’s designed to make you think they’re gonna make Trump cave. It’s designed to make you think they’re gonna tick Trump off so much, they’re gonna make even Trump think it can’t be done, he’s gonna throw up his hands and say, “You know what Pence, you can have it, I’m leaving.”

Whatever they have to do to make you think this is a lost cause, they will do and they are doing. And it’s going to continue. And Trump is not going to slow down, and he’s not going to pull back. He’s going to continue. He’s got people around him who are not gonna slow down and who are not gonna pull back. And he the people he has around him are hell-bent on defeating these people and getting them out of the way.

It’s gonna look very bad. It’s gonna make you feel very uncomfortable as it continues to happen. And you’re gonna be lied to left and right with fake news and fake protests and fake this and fake that. And they’re gonna undertake efforts to make everybody in the Trump team look like they are criminals, like they are racist bigots, like they hate people or what have you. It’s going to intensify. But Trump’s gonna be outrunning them. They aren’t going to be able to keep up with his pace.

The liberals and the media still haven’t realized what’s hit them.... They’re gonna make up polls, approval polls. They’re gonna try to tell you Trump’s the most unpopular president after three weeks that we’ve ever had in America. They’re gonna make you think that everybody that voted for Trump is abandoning him, except you. They want you to think you’re alone..

But Trump had enough votes to become President. Enough people love Trump's policies that he is the president. We voted for a ban, and we voted for everything Trump promised. CNN is fake news. CNN said Trump screamed at Australia's prime minister and hung up on him. Pure B.S.

There is a reason Trump was elected president. .. don't let liberals try to fool ya..

Personally I think if there were an election today, Trump would lose. People who were ambivalent before would rush to vote.
40% would support impeaching Trump and it's only been two weeks. The constant chaos, anger and combativeness with our allies is already worrying. When a press person yesterday asked Sean Spicer about the polls, reminding him that Trump loves polls, Spicer didn't have much to say and went to another question.

Personally I think if there were an election today, Trump would win by an even larger landslide.

(and I called this right consistently since Aug 2015)

Unlike other presidents, Trump is delivering on what he promised during the campaign, his support is as high as ever.

Only dems (and not many of the dems) believe the polls saying Trump's approval ratings are low. These fools believed Hillary was up by 10 points LoL.

true. If Obama and his policies were as loved as the approval ratings said, Trump would not have come close to winning and the Democrats would not have lost a record amount of seats

polls are fine and all but they are not producing results for the Dem Party in the real world

Trump is the most unpopular President in U.S. history, but his deranged supporters think "American love Donald Trump".

As Trump has repeatedly emphasized "He loves the uneducated" and "He could shoot someone on Fifth Ave. and his supporters wouldn't care". This thread illustrates both points quite well. Trump supporters, for the most part, are deranged, and detached from all reality.

No proof of this. But if you want unpopular, then here's unpopular.

Why are you trying so hard to convince others of something that you believe?

Actually, outside the alt right's alternative reality bubble, Trump is not that well liked. It's a shocker, I know.

Only 27% of eligible voters voted for Trump. The majority of people, both here and abroad, reject Trump. His approval rating, outside the alternative facts of Fox and Breitbart, is only declining.

And that's not surprising given that he's a well-known and admitted fraud and liar who governs by tweeting like a spoiled child, alienates long term allies and appoints his billionaire cronies to his cabinet. He got where he is by playing to the hate, fear, ignorance and bigotry of the double digit IQ set. That isn't sustainable. You actually have to possess some knowledge pertinent to governing and a modicum of know-how in dealing with other people. Trump ain't got those things.
