I have no problem with referring to them as "immigrants," just as long as its clear that they are "illegal immigrants." Democrats say that GOP opposition to lawbreakers entering out country is being "anti-immigrant," but of course this is patently false. I am anti-illegal immigration, not anti immigration. There is a big difference, though Democrats are doing their best to blur the lines.
The Democrats these days dont even know where there lines are at. They seem to always be looking for the next thing to be outraged over with the idea being more important actual outcome.
im·mi·grant
ˈiməɡrənt/
noun
a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country.
Because that's literally the definition of being an immigrant? Doesn't matter if they aren't here legally. If someone moves to another country to build a new life, they're technically an "Immigrant."

It matters a great deal. Because they are breaking our laws. Not exactly a good start to begin a new life! If someone moves to another country to "build a new life," (or any other reason) they either do it legally or illegally. If it's done illegally, they should be deported.

Yes, It matters because if a person is not taking the steps necessary to permanently move to a new country, they are not an immigrant. In this same way, a squatter is not considered a homeowner.
Im so sick of all these democrats always making speeches about "illegals Aliens", but they keep referring to them as Immigrants. As if they immigrated here lawfully .
This causes confusion and scares LEGAL IMMIGRANTS. So whats the deal?
It's a ridiculous slight of hand used by lying Liberals. I don't know anybody who is anti-immigrant. They try to confuse people into thinking that Trump is against immigrants. He's again ILLEGAL immigrants. It's amazing that they're even having a debate about ILLEGAL immigrants. What part of ILLEGAL don't democrats understand?

Oh they understand the difference.
But purposely conflating the two just helps them advance their agenda and it gives them opportunity to call anyone who disagrees with them a racist.
Identity politics is pretty much the only tool that Liberals have in their war chest...
Which is why this thread is getting mostly crickets from the Left.
Let's get these definitions settled once and for all.
The savages who originally populated the land are Native Indians. I think Columbus decided that. The survivors and offspring became American Native Indians by default.
The Europeans who CONQUERED North America are settlers, colonists or conquerors as you wish. Their offspring are Native AMERICANS. Being born here they are native to the land and country same as the Indians.
Those who came here AFTER the Revolutionary War, LEGALLY, were immigrants, some became American Citizens. Their offspring also become Native Americans. NOT - African Americans, or Mexican Americans, or any other hyphenated American. Either you are an American, or you aren't.
The rest, that is anyone without legal entry, are illegal aliens or simply, infiltrators.
I think we can all agree on these simple definitions.
Well stated. Everyone born here is a native. I get sick of those who want to live in the past and think that anyone who came after them is not a native. I'm tired of the hyphenated American thing also. I am just an American and it matters not where my ancestors came from nor am I going to refer to myself by their nationalities.
But getting back on topic I am also sick of the PC terms of "plain ole immigrants" or "undocumented" to describe illegal aliens.
Democrats desperately want votes from illegal aliens.
That's the reason why they've been pushing for amnesty so hard.
And churches want people in pews and tithing, that's why they've jumped in with both feet...
