And how do you know they aren't doing that???
They have to track down the Turkish officials, who may or may not want to talk to CNN. They may have to travel from their Istanbul location to Ankara, an almost 300 miles journey. There may be other reasons they aren't reporting it - like cost. Or does it still make sense to spend the resource on a story that has already been broken.
Trump supporters are showing us exactly why they are hypocrites. They say they hate fake news while at the same time are generating mountains of it.

I'm sure FOX News, Breitbart and InfoWars had teams of investigative reporters just converging on the area to bring people the truth. Could you possibly give me a link to any one of their reports on the subject?

And your point is what? That they are too incompetent as a news organization to research and report without AP? Guess what? You would be right.
The point is Sherlock, posting an AP story and asking why a network that doesn't pay AP why that network contains no such story is like asking why NBC didn't broadcast the Superbowl game.
The OP's argument essentially equates to: Since NBC didn't broadcast the Superbowl live, hence NBC doesn't like football. Which is a silly, stupid, postposterous, uninformed, ignorant thing to say.
