I truly believe tRump thought he'd cash in on living in the WH...both for his own businesses and his kids' businesses. But as his approval continues to drop, so do his family businesses.

Online sales for the Ivanka Trump brand fell 26 percent in January

So what? This is just business. Regardless of the reasons for Ivanka's slipping sales, this is how business operates. The market determines one's success or failure.

Her line is pretty blah. They don't really sell unless they are marked down 50%, and even then they don't really move that much. The price point isn't really indicative of what most women would pay at up market chains like L&T or Nordstroms for clothes of that quality/style/look. Theyre just not stylish enough and they have an image whether right or wrong, of being cheaply made. They would probably sell better at a chain like Belk, a more moderate priced retailer, that's also more accessible to her Dads base who probably would want to buy it.

Ivanka holds the opinions and values that lefists share. They are punishing her instead of her father.

As previously explained, her fashions do not appear well made. They will probably do better at Walmart than the more upscale Nordstorm, Neiman Marcus, etc.

All the Trump lines seem to be having difficulty these days. Trump home furnishing lines are being dropped. Condo prices are down. Reportedly, occupancy rates at hotels and resorts are down.

Many just don't want to be associated with anything that has to do with the Trump family. Even Harley-Davidson said nothing doing to a visit. L.L. Bean is trying to back away from his endorsement.

Had Ivanka kept her distance, not been part of those meetings with dignitaries, stayed back in NYC and insisted her husband stay in the real estate business, made clear she was not part of this Trump fiasco, she might have been able to come out of it okay. Now, I think it is unlikely she will ever get another another retailer to take on her line now. Not enough upside.

I thought she was going to get Trump to do something about maternity leave and a other family-friendly legislation. What happened to that?

All of the retail outlets (high and low end) that are dropping her lines due to slumping sales are punishment from the left? You guys need to make your minds. In one post, 'leftists' are moochers living off the system and then another (like this one) they are corporate entities that determine who can sell a product on the open market and who cannot.

Here, is a simple explanation: Sales down. Store no make money. Store drop line.

Looks like Trump's business is taking a hit. Maybe this is one way to wake him up that yes, while we can't do anything about him in office until the law catches up wit him or rest of America demand his resignation, we can protest in the form of boycotting his business.

As one brand specialist says:
“We may have lost at the ballot box, but we can vote at the cash register every day.”

Trump may well find that the presidency is a liability, not asset, for his brand ...
