Teach a man to fish, v. Giving a man a fish.
Force everyone to benefit everyone. How about that?

So you are saying that promoting and providing are the same thing?

Force does nothing but cause resentment.
Liberty is all about your individual choice. Not what the collective forces anyone to do, under the threat of harm.

Are you that black and white? All or nothing?

If you provide NONE, you are NOT promoting.

If you provide ALL, that's defined as socialism.

If you provide SOME, you're promoting.

It's not THAT hard to understand...

So, how does the federal government come to provide so much for so many, without authorization?
"Provide" is the 21st word in the Constitution. Just read the Preamble.

Mental Gymnastics! LOL!

No, that would not be promoting,(selling and educating so they buy it, or into it) That would be providing(giving)

The definition of promote(the word used in the Constitution) changed like here, to get what they want, to be defined as provide.

If that's how you think, then please get rid of everything that is shared and taxed.
Police, Fire, Medical, Schools, Libraries, Parks, Roads, etc..

If you're all about liberty, then put your money where your mouth is.

That's so true. A recent article about Ivanka and Melania comes to mind.

Define what is "promoting welfare" to you then. Since you obviously didn't want to provide context.

Provide defense
Provide general welfare. No it says promote, not provide.

When the 2 words are used in the same sentence, they cannot mean the same as many want it to mean.

The Federal Government is not authorized to do what they do, with forcefully taken money from the people.

This is the same as the left wanting people, person and individual, to mean citizen, citizens, or resident.
