Nope, I'd rather the money be spent on flushing out the illegals who are already here. Let's hire more CBP people who can check immigration status and deport illegals.
Irrelevant since there was no contest for most votes.
Relevant in that he doesn't have a mandate and not everybody who voted for him wants everything he promised (see Obamacare repeal).
California voted for Clinton 7.3 million to 3.9 million. Of the six states that account for 59% of illegal immigration, four of them (California, New York, Illinois, and New Jersey) voted against Trump.
Just because Trump won the election doesn't mean that the populace wants everything that he stood for.
President Trump mentioned several times at the CPAC conference today that he is going forward with building a wall along the entire U.S.-Mexico border.
So, do you support the building of this wall? Why or why not?
I am really having trouble with this one. I think the cost might not be worth it as illegals will always find a way to enter the USA, just like criminals and people with emotional problems will always get guns. On the other hand we have to find some way to protect our borders better.
If Trump's own homeland security secretary says that it won't work then I would say it's another con by the original con man and chief.
50,000,000,000 bucks?! Give me a fu ck n break. Walls don't work on such a huge border. Just look at the wall between Trump and reality. Tear down that wall mr Putin!
this has nothing to do with a con job? What does he have to gain? He campaigned on several issues, the wall being one of them. Now he is going to attempt to follow through on his campaign promise. It is more than many do. At least he has a plan: that is more than Hillary ever had.

The last POTUS to have an actual mandate was Reagan when he won all but one state.
The point is that the "popular vote" doesn't matter because it's irrelevant. Candidates don't campaign for it and many people vote based upon the status of their state. If every eligible voter voted, it would be relevant, but since that isn't the case, we have no idea as to who the majority of America wanted.
Build a 30' wall, I'll invest in a stock of 35' ladders. This is a is Dog & Pony Show, if we really want to stop illegal immigration, stop them from getting jobs that allow them to send $$$ home. Those who hire them should be jailed. The government makes a lot of noise about illegals but little about those who benefit from their cheap labor.
I do not support it, the drug dealers use submarines anyhow. I would rather the millions it would cost, be used on maintaining infrastructure like damns & bridges.
