Anybody can say it on the internet. You all know this is not going to happen because it is the American politicis and politicians we are dealing with here.
Who seems to be the lesser of two evils?
The one who wants a SINGLE war that is short and quick, destroy ISIS and be done with.
The one who wants a political correct war that is never ending.
How ISIS would be destroyed (which may not mean literally kill all of them btw) is definitely a genuine issue, considering it's based on an ideology that keeps growing. Modern technology helps it grow, unfortunately. But as to the question of whether or not the world should allow such people to exist, however others may need to step in and help, obviously ISIS "needs to be destroyed." The very obvious question is how.
Nazism was destroyed or at least subdued to the point it is no longer controlling and its followers are mere flies buzzing in the ears of the sensible and sane people of the planet. Neo-Nazis or whatever you want to call them are barely a threat, though they exist. They will never not exist, not totally (no political ideology will ever completely cease to exist, I don't think). Stopping Nazi Germany also needed to be done. If the world can somehow get Muslim fanatics to the point where they are not such a threat, like not having an organization like ISIS trying to barrel through a region while killing people, brutally, and destroying history and cities and destroying people's rights and whatever freedoms they had along the way and creating fanatics who pop up all over the world and commit attacks in its name... that would be great.
Terrorism, historically, hits in waves. Radical Islamic terrorism will eventually die out. But as to the question of whether ISIS needs to be destroyed, at the very basic level not considering HOW, of course it does. It is a horrific and damaging and dangerous group and groups like that do need to be stopped because if they are allowed to continue they can get much worse and more difficult to control than they already are. Unfortunately it's just not easy to do.
The ME needs to do a better job as a region to help its own people in this case. The UAE is worried about building up impressive cities for the wealthy like Dubai while other Muslims in its region, and really not that far away, suffer greatly at the hands of such a horrific group like ISIS.
The results of the same approach as Obama......well, looking at the situation the smart thing to do is to continue the same policy since its working and ISIS is losing. The stupid thing would be to change something that is working.
Then let them have at it. Why should it be our fight when other countries in the region with their own militaries face a bigger threat?
I agree. Why is it thousands and thousands of fighting aged men are fleeing Syria and Iraq, yet we are sending out troops over there? Why is it the regional powers over there are concerned about stability, yet they are not committing the entirety of their armed forces to stop the conflict?

Shelling villages in Syria is one of the best ways to create more recruits for ISIS.
As the leader of the western world and the main exporter of western culture, we will ALWAYS be a target.
That being said, the more we mind our own business, the more we become less of a priority.
i think it is safe to say that everybody agrees with him on that one.
Not going to happen though.
Well, maybe after 20 years of being over there and billions of dollars spent on trying to help people who are beneath savages and animals, maybe the US voters will take to the streets to demand withdrawal from the ME.
One can only hope. After all, people who wholeheartedly supported GWB are now saying the Iraqi invasion was a mistake.
