Well, what did you expect from a greedy rich 1%'er? They can never have enough money...

"Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said Sunday that legislation proposed by House Republicans to repeal and replace Obamacare is an “absolute disaster” that will shift wealth from America’s working class to the richest people.

“It is a 275 billion dollar tax break for the top 2 percent,” Sanders told CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “Millionaires will get about 50 thousand dollars a year in tax breaks while some 5 to 10 million are going to lose their health insurance. Premiums are going to soar.”"

What are the details of the tax change?

The link doesn't have them, so you should provide them so we can have a legitimate debate about it.

Or, is this just about partisan rhetoric?

Are you just pretending that you didn't see this?~

Two of the biggest tax cuts in Republican proposals to repeal the Affordable Care Act would deliver roughly $157 billion over the coming decade to those with incomes of $1 million or more, according to a congressional analysis.
The assessment was made by the Joint Committee on Taxation, a nonpartisan panel that provides research on tax issues.

It is not unusual for tax cuts to benefit mostly the wealthiest, but still save some money for a majority of Americans. But the benefits of these reductions would be aimed squarely at the top.

People making $200,000 to $999,999 a year would also get sizable tax cuts. In total, the two provisions would cut taxes by about $274 billion during the coming decade, virtually all of it for people making at least $200,000, according to a separate assessment by the committee.
“Repeal-and-replace is a gigantic transfer of wealth from the lowest-income Americans to the highest-income Americas,” said Edward D. Kleinbard, a professor at the University of Southern California law school and former chief of staff for the Joint Committee on Taxation.

Which is exactly what those of us with brains knew was coming with a Republican president and Congress. With the GOP, it is always and only about the top percentile. Can anyone name even one bill the GOP sponsored that benefited the middle or lower class in the last 50 years? Just one?

OK, not sure who would think that Bernie Sanders would approve of Trump and the GOP replacement, but that wasn't going to happen. Also, since Sanders bowed down to kiss Hillary's behind, I lost respect for anything he said after that point, although, I suppose it was a matter of life or death for him.

Let's walk thru it: Premiums were already soaring and those too poor for Medicaid and not wealthy enough to get the better plans were already suffering, after paying premiums, they couldn't afford the deductibles. Sanders is wrong about most wanting improvements, and since Trump won promising "repeal and replace" that would tend to support Sanders being wrong. PP, that is an abortion issue, I believe many Americans oppose paying for abortions with federal funds. And, when the big medical machine and big pharma go against something, you know you have a winner! The AARP? Yeah, get to know them and what they stand for.

Sanders has no room to take about anyone having "guts" after he betrayed his supporters by closing up shop instead of following through on his promise to stay in the race through the convention.

ObamaCareNot? Meant to break our country. The poor are covered by Medicaid, even illegal aliens get Medicaid through emergency room use.

Why are people on the left so jealous of others keeping their legally earned money?

Because rewarding the oligarchy with more wealth and power was the antithesis of his entire campaign.

Whether you like Bernie or not, what he says is true. I've looked at several different analyses of the current bill and tax cuts will go to those making over $200K as well as additional increases of tax benefits because of expansion of health savings accounts--just another place for high earners to shelter their income. We know that middle to low income folks never have enough net pay coming in to really take advantage of HSAs like they could.

The way to pay for these tax cuts: cut back the Medicaid expansion into the states, which hurts who?

Anyway, even though this particular plan benefits me in every way, I can still see that it's a bad idea for most people.

This is not partisan talk. If it was a good plan, Trump founded or not, I'd be thrilled. But it's not.

What does all of this blathering have to do with the fact that TrumpCare is little more than a big tax boondoggle for the upper tax brackets?

Yeah, that's right, absolutely nothing. Another attempt to deflect from the fact that the GOP is taking healthcare away from millions of middle and lower class Americans so they can give a big tax break to the wealthy. How about addressing THAT?

Details? We don't need no stinkin details (or facts). We're dealing with a loony Bernie rant, the demented old guy is not to be questioned.
