“It is a 275 billion dollar tax break for the top 2 percent,” Sanders told CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “Millionaires will get about 50 thousand dollars a year in tax breaks while some 5 to 10 million are going to lose their health insurance. Premiums are going to soar.”"

Bernie Sanders calls new health care bill “a tax break for the top 2 percent” - CBS News
I saw that interview and LOL at Bernie for complaining about everything that the Dems did when they rammed through O'care.

O'Care is imploding as we write. Have not seen Dems purpose anything to fix the issue.
It was designed to fail and it is. Problem is Trump won the election not Hillary.

Dems should get behind something before none of their followers have insurance next year.

True, but Obama didn't do squat for the middle class or poor, either in 8 years! All Politicians are for the elite, anymore. I thought Bernie Sanders was a breath of fresh air, until he went belly-up, and turned out to be a phony hypocrite! I would love to the U.S. become a social democracy like Denmark, but I guess we need a King for that?

The fact is that TrumpCare will cause millions of middle and lower class Americans to lose their healthcare, while at the same time, giving big, juicy tax cuts to the wealthy. Those are your facts.

Pointing out the facts does not make one demented, but pretending otherwise does.

One can always tell when criticism is hitting home, when those who defend the criticized individual or topic resort to ad hominem attacks like this.

Can you keep on topic, please, and quit attacking the bearer of bad news? What do you have to say in defense of Trump Care? Bernie Sanders just pointed out how it would impact us financially, with tax breaks for the wealthy and increased costs for everyone else. Can you comment about that? Can you defend it? Can you explain it? If you can, please share.

We're waiting.

Two of the biggest tax cuts in Republican proposals to repeal the Affordable Care Act would deliver roughly $157 billion over the coming decade to those with incomes of $1 million or more, according to a congressional analysis.
The assessment was made by the Joint Committee on Taxation, a nonpartisan panel that provides research on tax issues.

It is not unusual for tax cuts to benefit mostly the wealthiest, but still save some money for a majority of Americans. But the benefits of these reductions would be aimed squarely at the top.

People making $200,000 to $999,999 a year would also get sizable tax cuts. In total, the two provisions would cut taxes by about $274 billion during the coming decade, virtually all of it for people making at least $200,000, according to a separate assessment by the committee.
“Repeal-and-replace is a gigantic transfer of wealth from the lowest-income Americans to the highest-income Americas,†said Edward D. Kleinbard, a professor at the University of Southern California law school and former chief of staff for the Joint Committee on Taxation.
Wealthy Would Get Billions in Tax Cuts Under Obamacare Repeal Plan
I guess those facts are a little too 'partisan' for him.

Why argue about something in the future which has yet to be determined. Trump's a deal maker, not a true blue conservative. This "bill" hasn't even cleared the House and has not even been considered in the Senate. Health care reform will take many months.

Obama had a healthcare plan in 2008, it was partially implemented in 2011 and 2012 because it wasn't done correctly. The roll out was an absolute mess for months.

Saying it's so, while not providing any links or documentation to support the claim...makes it look an awful lot like "fake news".

This issue also falls under the "Elections have consequences" category.

This tsunami has been building since 2010.

Exactly! I think all moderated forums should automatically punish such posters and DELETE such posts!
