Trump himself actually doesn't seem to be 100% sold on this specific plan. For now it is indeed Ryancare.
If there's a silver lining here, it's that the consequences of this healthcare bill, if it passes, stand a good chance of insuring (no pun intended) that Trump will be a one-term president if he isn't impeached before the next presidential election.
Many families with minor dependent seem to believe that those without children should pay to educate and give recreational opportunities their kids.
Those who do not drive resent it when their taxes go towards roads.
People who do not use public transportation resent subsidies given to those who do.
People who do not live in natural disaster prone areas often resent paying for those who choose to live in such areas.
People who live pay the death benefits of those who die with term life insurance policies.
Very low income people feel entitled to not pay income taxes and high income earners resent those with no skin in the game.
Internet and social media make us all aware of how these resentments and the " all about me" thing.
People seem a lot more comfortable expressing their outrage about the other guy. Politicians and the media who love them, feed off this.

it's sad the tweets of the POTUS sound like those of a 13 year old girl trying to make her ex boyfriend jealous....to think this man occupies the same job as Lincoln, Adams, Washington.....
Actually, I worked for the Feds where everyone pays the same price regardless of age or whether you're retired. I do have maternity coverage, but as a 60+ male don't expect to use it! Maybe the Donald has the same Federal BCBS I have! Pay one price!

Best part of this whole thing is that the report comes directly from the CBO, Congressional Budget Office. Not CNN, Not MSNBC...but a nonpartisan analytics office.
There is no argument to be made here from conservatives about "fake news." 14 MILLION people will lose healthcare immediately when/if Trump's new plan is passed. That's 14 million people that are currently insured under Obamacare. That is a fact.
But on January 14th, 2017, Donald Trump said he'd create "healthcare for everyone."
Funny, Trump tweeted about 'OUR" wonderful healthcare bill in reference to AHCA.
Seems to me that Trump is claiming this bill as his, and it's "wonderful".
