No surprise.

For the past decade or so - at least since the treasonous Tea Party arose - the far-right has been obsessed with basically destroying the nation so it can be turned into an oligarchy ruled by various cronies and slimebags; people like Trump, in short. The Republicans have controlled a good chunk of Congress for years and have done literally nothing of value, and most of the states which they rule are economic wrecks riddled with poverty and backwards thinking. When given the burden of leadership, they are naturally not up to the task because they can't think past "getting rid of government" and basically letting everyone "fend for themselves" in some sick, Darwinist Ayn Rand dystopia. Expect more failures from the far-right as the Dumpester in Chief's presidency continues to flail along.

The Republicans remind me a lot of bitter whiners on YouTube who spend all their time making videos trashing the work of other people. Then, after a bit of investigation, you realize these whiners have no skills of their own and couldn't hope to produce anything even close to the quality of the very movies, games, or whatever that they are trashing. Any child can stand around screaming about how "everything sucks" - it takes actual skills to lead, and the far-right not only lacks it, they've made not leading a core part of their party platform.

But they voted to repeal 60+ times! They had 60 different bills all ready to go, 60 bills that already passed the House, so we know they are capable of it.

And the Republicans said they were going to get it done in the first 100 days. Heck, Trump promised to do it on day one.

So basically you saying us we should never believe the GOP even when they assure us, over and over and over again, that they're going to do something? Most of us already figured that out, but thanks for that news flash.

They knew damn well it would not get past obama....but at lesat they have one that they are reading, unlike the left, where they have to pass it to know whats in it.....

You know, it's funny that words now mean something to the left?

Why is not everyone covered? obama ran on that, but it was a dem...so it's all good....known liars...

Still waiting on my $2500....

So basically you're admitting that all of those votes were little more than posturing for their base. They had no real interest in repealing it. (It's okay, you can admit it. We all know this already.)

And further, you're admitting that those 60+ bills to repeal the ACA were devoid of any substance, because if that were not the case, then they would have re-presented one of them this time. After all, every single one of their repeal bills passed the House. Let that sink in. Pre-the 2016 election, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR ANTI-ACA BILLS PASSED THE HOUSE. The only one that has ever failed is the one where it actually counted.

Come on, admit it, chuck, you were had.

Hey, they are reading the bill and they don't like it...imagine that....
wrong.

A. Nancy Pelosi never said that Congress didn't know what was in it. She said the public would see the benefits they would get once it passed. And apparently the public agrees since public approval of Obamacare is at an all time high vs. the 17% who supported loser dog of a bill TrumpCare.

B. the right had 7 years to come up with the replacement. Not 90 days. They preferred to posture for the camera and waste taxpayer money with pretend votes to repeal rather than coming up with an actual replacement. And were shocked to find out that it was hard and couldn't actually be done in 64 days. But it could have been done in 7 years if they had actually done anything but obstruct. As in the premise of the thread - they prefer to obstruct rather than govern.

republicans only know how to do one thing, cut taxes, especially for the rich. Why we even need a republican party is beyond me. They'reincapable of doing anything else. Not to mention, it seems like 99% of the entire GOP is bought and paid for. Being a gop congressman or senator seems to be nothing more than a avenue to get rich these days.

I'll admit it, and that's what the base wants...why can you not figure that out? The attempt to do what their voters want, unlike the left.

You do understand that the first and second quote say the exact same thing, right?

Not had, I want who is going to put money in my pocket, the ACA was not...it was and still is taken money from me, but you'll never believe what I say, because you think I stand up for trump (sometimes) that I'm a die hard trumper....far from it...

The left was had 7 years ago, remember gruber and his statement? Yea, that's the left for ya...

They have a bill, they are going over it, some repubs don't like it, unlike the left, they have their own opinions about it....unlike the left falling in line like sheep, no matter good or bad...

I find it hard to believe that the left is complaining about the right not passing a bill because they want to know what is really in the bill and what it does for everyone, unlike the left, who has to pass the bill first so we can see what in it...
