Because I don't want my dr office to look like the DMV. Every government that provide universal coverage rations care.

Yeah but all the illegals, and poor people from inner cities will be there too so they'll all be sucking the system dry together.

Who knew racial harmony was that easy? Just let them mooch off the system together.

Not true at all.

Myth #3: Canada rations health care; that’s why hip replacements and cataract surgeries happen faster in the United States. This has been debunked so often, it’s tiring. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, for example, concluded: “At least 63 percent of hip replacements performed in Canada last year [2008] ... were on patients age 65 or older.” And more than 1,500 of those, it turned out, were on patients over 85.

How many 90 year olds got heart transplants last year.

All systems ration health care.

AARP - The organization that helped bring you Obamacare. I would never trust this arm of the Democrat party!

Because even the California Assembly knows that it's a bad idea, that's why.

Boy, you people are losing any semblance of rational or logical thinking. Those stats came from Canadian government tracking of pay-outs; you know the thing that's really easier to do when only one single party is the payor?

You've all gotten so you simply dismiss facts published by multiple sources if just one of those sources is linked to a political party? Really?

Short answer? Because 50% of us not only don't pay taxes they get money back they didn't pay in. In short, we simply don't pay enough in taxes so support universal health care. Get the bottom half to pay their share and it might be another story.

Why Can't the Fifth Largest Economy on Earth provide Universal Single Payer Health Care?

A: We lack the desire to do so.

Paying for the world's most expensive military by far certainly can't help.
