If I were a cop and the assignment came in for a neighborhood like that, I'd be riding a desk for a couple of months due to a strained back I received on the job. Then my knee got twisted. It's a physically demanding job with lots of quick injuries on that beat.
Or they could arrive. Hit the air horn and lights. Sit in the squad for a few minutes while the perps get away
That would also work.
