We have to accept people of other religions even if one of the main tenents of that religion is to kill everyone not of that religion. Gee, the people who did that can't be that bad. Unlike the countries on the 'travel ban' list whose citizens have been responsible for zero deaths by terrorist action in the US, the country from which most of those flying the planes came from isn't on the list.

I've never seen a liberal on this forum type "Not all Christians are bad, you can't blame an entire group on the extremists". Not. Once.
Nor have I ever seen a liberal admit why the Crusades even happened.

I am not liberal, but I can 'admit' history all day long. The crusades were started as a military expansion of the catholic church, and to retake the holy lands taken by muslims 400 years prior.

The Crusades were NOTHING compared to 1400 years of NON-STOP invasion, colonization and enslavement of peoples and lands of the European continent by Muslims from the Middle East and Northern Africa.
Literally, non-stop war and agression. Imperialism? Colonization? Invasion? The Ummah did it to Europe first, for far longer, than Europe did it to the Ummah. Millions of Europeans were ripped away from their lands and sent to slave markets in the Muslim world. The Ottoman Empire extended its tentacles into eastern Europe until world war one, when it was FINALLY broken up.
And yet, Europeans are constantly made to feel guilty about their own incursions.... even by the very people who raped Africa and Asia CENTURIES before Europeans got involved in the colonialism game! The ethnic cleansing and colonization of Northern Africa by the Arabs (replacing the indigenous inhabitants with Arab peoples, culture and religion), for example, is on par with anything that happened in the new world. Yet, history seems to gloss over this fact.
Why is this? Whose purposes does this serve?
