63 million people voted for Trump. The attempt to usurp the voter's choice under the electoral college rules by the Leftists will not end well. The Progressives would rather destroy the country and democracy.

Reminder: The Dems did not start or conduct this investigation. It was going on for months before anyone knew about it.
The investigation was about Russia cyberhacking us, and in the course of investigation that, ran across lots of communications and meetings among the Trump team and those Russians.
Any American should welcome getting to the bottom of this. We don't want foreign countries running our country or our elections or our democracy. Russia is doing this all over the world.
Any focus on Trump has been caused by Trump himself. HE is the one who may have asked the FBI Director to let the Flynn investigation go. HE is the one who fired the person heading the investigation whose focus now included communications among the Trump team and Russians. HE is the one who gave a top code secret to the Russians. HE is the one who invited an enemy foreign nation to the Oval Office, invited the Russian media, and excluded Americans. HE is the one who asked the Director heading the Russian investigation to pledge an oath of loyalty to him personally, instead of to the constitution or the country.
Imagine if it had been Obama or Clinton who had done any of those things. The impeachment papers would already be drawn up.
But in the end, an investigation needs to be done, and the results should be based on the evidence. If anyone colluded with the Russians against America, they need to face the music, no matter who it is. Any American would agree with that.
And this is really what it's about for you people, isn't it? Not a quest for the truth whatever it may be, but an affirmative hope that "many other misdeeds are exposed." Why would anyone actually hope for this out of our own president unless politics is more important to them than country?
I am sure someone pointed this out to you already but just in case they didn't, that is exactly what happened with President Bill Clinton. It started out with Whitewater and ended up with Monica Lewinsky. I actually forgot about this tidbit.
You miss the point. There is no collusion with Trump and Russia. If there was it would have been front page NYTimes headlines a year ago.
This is an attempt by the Progressives to delegitimize the voter's choice. An attempt to push people to a mob mentality. I mean it. This is a Leftist attempt to undermine democracy and threat to our rule of law.

He's an honest, honorable man, from everything I've read about him. That guardian article is biased and questionable.
