Finally someone who cares enough to help the hard working and our elderly.
And not so much the leeches in society getting Welfare free insurance, and free food.
I know there are emergency situations that people need help.
A way of life, No.

Thank you President Trump and all who support him!!!

Trump budget to cut Medicaid, food stamps -- put 'taxpayer first,' officials say | Fox News

"The White House plan leaves Social Security and Medicare untouched, but calls for $800 billion in cuts to Medicaid and a $193 billion reduction in food stamps over the next ten years."

"President Trump is calling for major cuts to Medicaid and food stamps -- alongside increases for national and border security -- as part of what administration officials call a "taxpayer-first budget" set to be released Tuesday."

We are no longer going to measure compassion by the number of people on those programs. We're going to measure compassion by how many people we can get off those programs,

So, take the money from people who need food and healthcare and instead waste it on even more pointless security theater to enrich defense contractors.

Trump simply wants to shift even more welfare away from people who need it and over to people and corporations who are already wealthy.

So throwing millions of people off of food stamps and Medicaid is what you consider compassion? You obviously know no working poor personally. I do. They work hard, many of them at more than one job, and still can't make ends meet. But hey, who cares, right? Let them starve and/or die from preventable or curable diseases because it's so much more important to give big tax cuts to people who don't need the help than to help feed people who do.

I bet you sit in church every Sunday and pretend to be a good Christian, too.

The DoD is the only major US agency never subjected to an independent audit. Why should we thank Trump for increasing an already bloated military budget when the DoD has never been required to justify it?

Wow. I'm sure all the elderly who are on Medicaid and the poor who live in Appalachia and other poor rural places like Kentuckey will really appreciate this. When the jobs don't come back to those areas and they can't feed their kids, will they feel the "compassion"?

BTW, just so you know, an enormous number of programs for the mentally disabled or physically handicapped in schools will also be cut through the cuts to Medicaid, since schools often get reimbursed for those programs through Medicaid. I'm sure the parents of those children will also feel the "compassion" when their children can't receive the same education and services as able-bodied children.

It's so ludicrous that the Republican-controlled administration and its supporters think that the only people who benefit from Medicaid and food stamps are inner-city welfare leeches. It's just not so.

What?
I am confused by what you said.

How is helping the elderly and hard working people handing money over to the corporations and those who are already healthy?

Please explain.

A lot of elderly live on a low fixed income while food, has, medical, and housing costs keep rising.

Hard working families are taxed so high that they have to work more than 40 hours a week.
Thus taking them away from their spouse and children.
