The man made no threats. He just gave her a piece of his mind, about what he thought about her allegiance. She had no counter argument to defend herself. That is the point she sits there and takes it, only to make him look like the fool. Anyone tries to stop this person from speaking his mind, and making no threats of harm, with physical action, deserves to get killed.
That is exactly what the 2nd amendment is for.
I feel sorry for these guys that got killed, as they did not understand the bill of rights very well.

He didn't murder the woman, she didn't even get a scratch. He defended himself against 2 men. That is not murder. Murder, pft! He didn't even bring the knife to the fight.

Just following your lead as I don't know all the facts as of yet sooooo, If the suspect was not physically threatening or verbally threatening assault against said women and only insulting their race/religion/sex then he was not "assaulting" them. He was harassing them and disturbing the peace.
If in fact the two "hero's" physically threatened said suspect if he didn't shut up and/or had the knife the suspect then used on them there's going to be a problem for the prosecution AND the narrative that's being pushed.
Going to be interesting where this story goes if it doesn't die out when further contrary information is released...

There was no mention of the men threatening the murderer, or getting physical with him. Nobody deserves to be killed for standing up for people who are being abused. You said they deserved to be killed - only a sick person would think that.
