The whole thing started with his email objecting to the Day of Absence on principle and stating his intention not to go along. Had he not sent it there would have been no controversy.
His turmoil may have start with his email. But, did he think his email would possibly result in being castigate, physically threatened by the students, and possibly fired? In my opinion, I don't think he did since he seemed surprised when he appeared on Fox by the response to his email.
He has even called out his college colleagues on twitter for not reaching out to him. He is out in the Leftist cold......

In my opinion, Weinstein only took a stand against Leftist tactics when they affected him personally. He whined to Fox when the Leftists turned on him and could affect his livelihood. I have no respect for the guy. He seemed to think he was immune and would get a pass from the Leftists. He seemed shocked when he wasn't given that pass.
And I really,really wish he'd been confronted with his past "performances" and how he justify his position now against his past...
They are creating an atmosphere of feelings, overruling fact.
Where anything that hurts their feelings, or is offensive to them, is to be classified "hate Speech". All to justify violence and shut them up. They want jail time for hate speech. The reason they want people unarmed.
Strange since many on the white right agree with a separation of the races, but they are outraged when someone suggests it from the opposite side....
No one from the other side suggested it. The "other side" suggested a temporary separation while they continued to collect the goodies that "our side" created.
Evergreen has been an insane asylum for a long time. I don't know if they still do it, but they didn't test, give grades, and would allow you to make up your own degree....the inmates are running the asylum there at Evergreen.

What's so concerning is that our country is starting to see the dire consequences of our whole education system taken over by and a whole generation now deeply indoctrinated in extreme liberal ideology. These kids are lacking civility, balanced critical thinking skills, tolerance, moral and intellectual integrity.
Until we openly admit the imbalance, it will only get worse.
This school plays a dangerous racial game with this "absence" thing. It's actually not the fault of these kids that they act this way. That being said, their tone demands that names are taken and suspensions or some other form of punishment is meted out.
As in "City data poster shrieks that students are angry"?
Why anyone thinks that the vast majority of humans , no matter whether students or Trump rally goers are not ignorant , uninformed buffoons is surprising.
This is a SAD and transparent attempt to attack Universities due to the right's view that they are too liberal. Guessing the OP never finished college?
Are you saying colleges should espouse only politically correct views?
