If you do then it's obvious you have zero credibility. When I see you starting the threads about Trump increasing military spending and how is budget plan will greatly add to the deficit then you can talk.

Trump could have merely negotiated while still in the agreement, but leaving the agreement leaves the US no opportunity to do so. Remember, natural gas and renewables have gained significant market share on coal without an increase in electricity prices while reducing emissions. You are being lied to if you have heard otherwise.

Trump didn't listen to Rick Perry and Rex Tillerson and wasted an opportunity to push natural gas as clean burning alternative base load generating power.

In conclusion..... don't use money as an excuse as I'll make you look silly.

Exactly right. Trump could have remained in the agreement without paying another penny.

I don't have to use any excuse. Trump made the decision, an informed decision, and I support my President.

Here is what has happened, those with their panties in a wad over Hillary losing are critical of everything that Trump does, so if you have heard the story about the boy that cried wolf, you'll get what is going on. Do I need to elaborate on that?

I continue to support my President and basically ignore the constant cries of "wolf" by the left.

And 200 countries globally. Because the entire world is wrong. When Trump sees blue state governors meeting and working with global leaders (who don't veer right to avoid shaking his hand) to align climate goals for their states, Trump will be even more isolated.

An informed decision, is not what it was as you've been lied to again by Trump. We could have stayed in the agreement and renegotiated to do nothing. Trump didn't even understand what he was getting out of.

That's a great deflection. Some people don't care if their president doesn't release their tax records after implicitly saying he will, what's he hiding?

Perry and Tillerson only wanted to stay in to export more gas. None of them, Trump included, think that human activity has any meaningful effect on climate change. The US will export more gas regardless of the agreement and we probably will save millions by not being involved.

We won't save anything we couldn't have saved any and we will lose jobs that will be created by those industries. However, blue states are going to continue so they can get those jobs and industries. Red states will be left out and behind - again. This is a classic example why the West Coast has all those technology jobs while Appalachia and the Rust Belt cheer Trump while they wait for coal to come back.

The money spent on the military means we don't get effed with. The technology used by the military trickles down into the US economy.

Money given to a third world corrupt pesthole via an unenforceable accord gives us nothing in return.

there are two possibilities as to why trump left the paris accords;

1: he knows that the accords are a scam to send money to the corrupt organization called the UN, as well as cede a portion of US sovereignty to the UN

2: it is a negotiating tactic to force everyone to the negotiating table to hammer out a new deal that is more favorable to the US.

in the end the europeans decided to let the US leave the accords instead of renegotiate the deal.

Sigh. There is a lot of money to be made with this. And Trump could have remained without paying another penny. We've already paid a billion and he effectively threw that away. Likely because Macron and Merkel mocked him a bit.

He predicted that U.S. companies involved in environmentally friendly technologies will relocate renewable technology research and development centers to Asia, helping countries such as India, Indonesia and Vietnam that need foreign capital to reach renewable goals.

"By leveraging the strong manufacturing value chain in China and other Asian countries, cost of renewables could fall even faster and penetrate more rapidly to displace dirty fossil fuel such as coal in key Asian markets," Yu said.
