How do you know breitbart is lying? OK, well, this is just my opinion, I freely admit, so I don't have to back it up, but the answer may well be "because it is something they published". Reminiscent of the saying "how do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving".

The police are debunking the story. The police would KNOW how many protesters showed up. Do you even understand WHERE the protest was to be held? Right in front of Parliament. A place with RCMP, Security and local police.
It is IMPOSSIBLE for a large group to gather for ANY reason on Parliament Hill without the authorities knowing about it.
But no. You want to believe a rag that has been discredited so many times.
Once in the while, some of the stuff they throw at the wall sticks - but, their track record is less-than-stellar.
