The vast majority of comments on Comey have been very complimentary and he conducted himself very professionally during his testimony. Trump has praised him previously. Not a single GOP Congressman attacked his credibility or veracity or professionalism in the past few days. They were quite receptive to his testimony and the really good stuff will be done behind closed doors.

It doesn't matter. It's also fact that Trump is not investigated by the FBI. It's now very clear. Rubio said the right thing yesterday. It lifts up the cloud for Trump.
So I see Fox News talking heads are saying that now is the best possible time to end the investigation cause there hasn't been any solid evidence of collusion, and the Dems and liberals are wasting time and money looking for it. Yeah after the Comey testimony, I think we're just getting into the crazy.
What facts about Russian collusion were presented in the testimony?
Comey leaking information as a "private citizen" needs to be investigated. What else has he leaked? And, we learned that Loretta Lynch asked him to not call the investigation into Hillary's email an "investigation," but a "matter."
Comey exposed the level of corruption that existed in the Obama administration, and also his own corruptibility.
Meanwhile, President Trump was vindicated.
Comey resigned as Asst AG under AG ******** when Comey went against what ******** who had agreed with a particular bill law needed renewing every so often.
******** had signed the extension every time.
While ******** was in the hospital, Comey was acting AG.
Comey refused to sign it and resigned the next day after ******** overruled Comey.
If he was so principled then, why didn't he resign when Lynch demanded he use the word "matter" instead of "investigation"?
IMO, Comey's Clinton connections ever since Watergate shows where his allegiance is.
Trump never once asked about what the Russians were up to and how it could be prevented in the future.
Trump's lack of curiosity is stunning.
Either he is blissfully clueless about what being POTUS is all about or he already knew what the Russians were up to and has no intention of trying to stop it.
This! I haven't been able to fathom how he has not made a statement about the absolutely grievous interference by the Russians in our country's elections. His absence of any remonstration is stunning! ...and telling, sadly.
Comey was anything but "independent," and Mark Levin points out that the ten year term Comey mentioned in his opening statement wasn't to make sure they were independent, but was really a term limit.
Comey's opening statement was basically one long whine. I actually thought at one point he was going to cry.
The FBI Director is underneath the President, and the President may fire him at any time for any reason.
"and the President may fire him at any time for any reason."
AND as even Comey admitted at the first part of his session, the he served "At the pleasure of the president and CAN be fired for no reason at all.
It is notable Trump supporters are really not defending his actions, words or policies on their merits.
They attack the source without explanation. They attack the poster personally. They call Comey names. They might try a weak explanation based on some policy straw man. Teams of lawyers and the entire GOP have a full time job trying to mount a defense of any kind.
They deny the polls. They deny fact based media reports. They cannot explain why he has so many unfilled key positions or leaks, except to blame people outside the administration, when it is the administrations job to keep it together.
You ask them direct questions, that are very straightforward, and they dodge them and throw up diversions. Very desperate stuff.
There are simply no threads being posted about Trumps long list of accomplishments since taking office. None! Nada!
I find it both entertaining and amusing and hope it drags on a very long time.
For the Dems, it is the modern day equivalent of tossing a diseased carcass over the castle walls and then standing back and watching the show! Except the GOP did it to themselves. LOL
