Well, according to Trump, he's being investigated now.
Follow the conversation. The previous poster was trying to make a point that Trump somehow was being deceitful when he said he wasn't being investigated last week. Trump was correct when he said that last week. The announcement that he is being investigated only came out yesterday.

I neither said nor meant any such thing.
I said and mean that Trump's efforts to interfere is why he is in hot water now.
Comey told Trump that he wasn't being personally investigated for the alleged Russian collusion, from which most people infer that if there was collusion, Trump was not the evildoer. But that wasn't good enough for Trump. Instead of breathing a sigh of relief and letting the chips fall where they may, Trump then tried to get Comey to stop looking into the allegations altogether. Again, for most people, this looks like guilty knowledge on Trump's part - whether the guilty knowledge is of the alleged collusion or some other questionable activity.
If he had just been smart enough to shut up while he was ahead - but he isn't that smart.
And then he fired Comey, and is now thinking of firing Mueller. Honestly, Trump needs no enemies other than himself.

While you're focusing on the "I am not under investigation" part, others are focusing on the "I've been vindicated". Last week he may not have been under investigation... but he was NOT vindicated in any sense.
tl;dr - Trump needs to stop tweeting every little thing that comes to mind because he's got a penchant for saying things that come back to bite him in the butt. And he's the president. Throwing a temper tantrum over every little slight is unbecoming.
