It's important to be stylish when stealing from and killing folks.
The point is that Islam is incompatible with rights for LGBT people. Islamic societies and communities have not demonstrated that they are places of safety for LGBT people. It is frankly a slap in the face to the LGBT community to wear anything associated with that religion at a pride event. What next? An "I heart the Westboro Baptist Church" shirt at the pride parade in 2018? You know, since we want to be inclusive of ALLLL diverse points of view and religions.
Unlike even Christianity, where there are plenty of sects that are welcoming to LGBT people, there is no corollary in Islam. The most liberal are the minority Ahmadiyya Muslims, and THEY get persecuted by the majority non-Ahmadiyya.
There's also like that one mosque in probably the entire world that made major headlines for being liberal and trying to be Islam's version of the Unitarians and welcoming gays.
