Perdue Pharma with the help of the government and corrupt doctors push synthetic heroin (oxy) as suitable for chronic pain-Florida pill mills ie synthetic heroin dealers+Oxy being brought back from Florida to Appalachia+depressed economic conditions+cut back on the supply of oxy +heroin takes its place=current situation.

Genesis of our current opiod epidemic is Perdue Pharma mid 90's and what they were allowed to get away with. Read up on it., plenty of youtube videos and investigative news pieces on it. The family that controls Perdue became billionaires by selling synthetic heroin, and they were well aware of what they were doing.
