I recall being witness in an assault with a weapon charge. (i saw and heard it) the guy went down even though he never landed a shot. he was charged and convicted of assault with a weapon and went to prison. he never hit the guy but did try to.

Crime is crime success has nothing to do with it.
Well crime doesn't equal time if you work for POTUS.

"Trump has asked his advisers about his power to pardon aides , family members and even himself in connection with the probe, according to one of those people . A second person said Trump ’s lawyers have been discussing the president ’s pardoning powers among themselves."

Would an innocent person need a pardon? If you pardon an innocent person does it automatically place a dark cloud of guilt over that person?

Pardons are an admission of guilt. Innocent people don't get pardoned. In fact, innocent people don't look up how to pardon themselves and their entire family.

Actually a pardon is an admission of guilt. At least to my understanding. The pardon is removing punishment.

Got to wonder what legal advice his attorneys gave him on this matter.

Kasowitz, who just threatened to track down a someone at his house.

Sekulow, who got in an argument with himself over whether Trump was under investigation and told Chris Wallace to butt out.

Ty Cobb, who taxpayers are footing the bill for despite him representing Trump personally.

At least come up with a half plausible excuse why Don Jr. and Kushner were meeting with this ever growing list of Russians.
Gasp! The Trump camp met with Russians?! No, no, no, no! That's absolutely impossible since they've been claiming for over a year that they had nothing at all to do with any Russians whatsoever, and how dare you even think of suggesting something so disgusting and phony!

This is the stuff HISTORY is made of! Relish in it! It is in our time!
It will truly show how easily the American public is swayed to snake oil salesmen and soothsayers! It's like the 1800's all over again- AND THAT'S WHAT THOSE IDIOTS WANTED!!!!!

Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

I see the GOP slowly rising from this Phoenix. Maybe a more moderate but fiscally conservative model. And the hounds will cowtail. Oh yes they will, lol.
