NEW ORLEANS – People likened Pink Floyd front man Roger Waters' packed show in New Orleans overnight to propaganda and were frustrated with the second half of the show being devoted to Waters' hatred of President Donald Trump.
Attendees told WBRZ, Water featured images of war and protests on giant screens as he performed. During one set, a pig with Donald Trump's image on it floated above the heads of spectators. Graphics spelled out “Trump is a pig” throughout the performance.

Rogers has considered playing trcks from Pink Floyds 'The Wall' at the US - Mexican Border, and it should be noted that Waters and indeed the rest of Pink Floyd were very critical of other politcians in the past such as Margaret Thatcher. Waters also upset a lot of people in 2012 when he became involved in the Falklands dispute and it was allegedly Waters that led to Pink Floyd splitting in the first place.
The sad death of Richard Wright from Lung Cancer in 2008 and the loss or original member Syd Barret, coupled with friction between Waters and Gilmour mean that this is now Waters band and is no longer really in any sense Pink Floyd. Inded Nick Mason is the only one left who is friendly with Waters.
Quick bit of trivia or perhaps it's just urban myth.... After years of lawsuits over the use of the name "Pink Floyd" Waters finally relented when he had a "Momentary Lapse of Reason".
I don't know which is odder: that the clueless go to this concert and are offended by political content in these abnormal times; or that anyone cares enough to go see some arena-rock from the '70's at all.
