That is exactly right, although both of them are up big over time.
But as Jim Cramer says, we don't care about where a stock has been, we care about where it's going.

I buy a lot of car parts, and I have UPS and FedEx delivering almost every day from some online supplier. I realize I should be supporting some local guy, but I save money, there are few hassles, and I don't have to put up with all the bs at the check out.........(want to join our club, will you take a survey, want an extended warrranty ?)

But there is a downside. I just ordered two ac condensers from Rock Auto. First one was made wrong, would not fit, second one was packaged badly and came in bent. They took them back, but I have to wait for credit. I ran to O'Reilly Auto Parts, picked up one, and it fit and was in good condition. So, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Anybody care to gripe about Wal Mart was so bad( just like Sears, K Mart, Home Depot, Target, Whole Foods, Kroger's, McDonald's, Wendy's, etc, etc., etc.). They all helped finish off countless smaller mom and pop stores and private stores.
Now Amazon is wiping them out en masse on a scale never before and I'll bet every one who ranted about Wal Mart has bought lots of items off Amazon and never thought twice about it. Amazon which has horrible employee relations and whose owner is obscenely wealthy at others expense. I just like rubbing hypocrites noses in it once in a while.

Customer service is the advantage brick and mortar stores have over online. Yet so few seem to take advantage of this.

Theoretically, you're right, but customer service is often abysmal in retail, too, especially in the big box stores. I'm not defending Amazon, by the way; not by any means.

I can't wait for most of them to close. Bulldoze them and build a nice park.

Malls are full of miscreants, nobody wants to set foot in them anymore.
