I can only wonder where you get your "news"

Have you heard about Fallujah, or Mosul where Iraqis slaughtered ISIS using US arms. Yes, there were times where they were overran, and ISIS was able to capture some of the US made weapons, but that sometimes happens in war. Some Viet Cong also carried M-16s. To twist that into "US is arming ISIS" is dishonest.
We are discussing Syria. You know that.

These are Sunni Free Syrian Army, Arab fighters trained and equipped by the CIA to overthrow Asad. They are not Al Qaeda, ISIS or Nusra. First he's launching cruise missiles and shooting down Syrian jets and supporting the Kurdish forces, now this. It doesn't make sense.

Russia and Iran want the Sunni's out of the way and this doesn't bode well for the future, maybe Iran gets a part of Syria out of all this and at little expense. There is no cohesive plan for our actions in Syria unless there is more to this latest deal.

No, your own link said the US arms were captured from Iraqi troops, while you have been trying to make it sound like US gives them directly to ISIS.

Making it rain weapons across the Middle East was a brilliant strategy from Obama that will ensure peace for years to come.

Okay, so the first moderate rebels to get Obama weapons backfired, that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep trying.

Okay, just because moderate rebels at times strike deals with and work out strategies with ISIS doesn't mean we shouldn't pour in more weapons.

Well, plenty of more moderates to arm.

Amnesty report: ISIS armed with U.S. weapons - CNNPolitics.com

Crap, we need to find some Iraqis who don't run and leave our massive free stock piles of weapons for ISIS.

Time to send more weapons.

How is it possible that ISIS keeps getting US weapons?

Man, ISIS got Obreezey's air drop?!?!

Okay, make it rain more weapons!

Another air drop went right to ISIS?!?!: US weapons airdrop goes straight to ISIS....again!

Alright these air drops straight to ISIS are getting annoying.

Let's just focus on training moderate rebels.

Okay, okay, Obama is not wrong on this, we just need to drop more free weapons everywhere and train everyone!

JERUSALEM – Syrian rebels who would later join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIS, were trained in 2012 by U.S. instructors working at a secret base in Jordan, according to informed Jordanian officials.
The officials said dozens of future ISIS members were trained at the time as part of covert aid to the insurgents targeting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Syria. The officials said the training was not meant to be used for any future campaign in Iraq.

Okay, this time we will find MODERATE rebels.

What, the Humvees Obama left with Iraq were given to ISIS when the Iraqis ran away?!?!?!

Terrorists Seize U.S. Weapons in Iraq - Vocativ

You know what I am fine with Obama arming Al Qaeda, they are the "good terrorists" compared to ISIS. I can't even think of a single Al Qaeda strike on US soil.

The Obama administration’s Syria policy effectively sold out the U.S. interest that was supposed to be the touchstone of the “Global War on Terrorism” — the eradication of al Qaeda and its terrorist affiliates. The United States has instead subordinated that U.S. interest in counter-terrorism to the interests of its Sunni allies. In doing so it has helped create a new terrorist threat in the heart of the Middle East.

Tulsi Gabbard, how dare you criticize Obama, you are dead to us open-minded Democrats!

Assad was at a stalemate until Russia intervened, now Russia and Iran can have their way with Syria. Syria will be divided up between Iran and Russia, if you don't care now then at least be consistent in the future.

Syria was never ours to be had. Assad and his government were (for years) the legitimate power of Syria and have been aligned with Russia and Iran for years. Now the US wants it so we arm terrorists to overthrow the legitimate government and throw Syria into chaos just to gain influence there and expand the empire.

If you are so concerned about Russia and Iran having influence there maybe you should do something about it instead of supporting arming terrorists which is what (as the pentagon has said) the FSA is, they are al-qaeda affiliates, this is a fact.
